Hi lovelies!
Halloween is around the corner, so Ms. Sparkle has a new collection for you to drool over! The "Things I've Seen" collection this year features 4 new shades; two flakie-shimmers and two glitter jellies. Let's start with the ethereal "Don't Be A Basic Witch":
This sheer purple shimmer jelly is filled with opalescent flakies and builds up well in three medium coats. It makes for a truly magical effect. Shown here are three coats with glossy top coat.
Flakie business like this needs to be mattified as well, therefore:
Next up I have one of the glitter jellies, the bright dark orange "Pumpkin of my Eye":
This wonderful polish is so fun! It is filled with orange hexes, black shreds and black cats and loaded with holo sparkle. It reaches opacity in two coats and needs some glitter food to smooth out those cats. It applied well and needed very little fishing.
I also have the matte version!
Next up is the dark "Stranger Things", an upside-down looking blackened green shimmer filled with big colour shifting flakies.
This polish is a little tricky, due to its sheerness, but builds up beautifully in three medium coats. The flakies can be somewhat bigger and hence may need some placing, but nothing too complicated. They create a beautiful and spooky effect. Shown here are three coats with glossy top coat.
And of course, to really emphasise those flakies, one needs to show them matte:
And last, but certainly not least, there's the festive "Who took the Candy?!" green glitter jelly. This is such a beautiful colour! I wore this to a wedding, it complimented my black-and-white dress very well.
This green jelly is full of multicoloured hexes and looks like a party on my nails. Because of the smaller glitters, the one applies relatively easily with the dabbing method. Shown here in two coats plus glitter food and glossy top coat.
This beautiful collection is appropriate not only for Halloween, but all year round, if you ask me! Ms. Sparkle is taking a little vacation at the moment, but when she's back be sure to pick these up!
